Hi! =)

I have a problem ...

See:

Tools->Version Control Aliases->New

When select "TFS" in "Version Control Type", show error message:

---------------------------
dbForge Studio for Oracle
---------------------------
TFS client not found.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Then back automatically select "SVN" in "Version Control Type". =/

Depending on TFS server settings in the host field you need to specify either path (e.g. http://tfs:8080) or path + default collection (http://tfs:8080/DefaultCollection). Please, try both cases and let us know if it works.

I am getting the same error. I just downloaded dbForge Studio (and dbForge Fusion) in order to evaluate it for use in our company, and I get the same "TFS Client not found".

I am using VS 2013, and I wanted to connect to a TFS 2013 server.

Any help is appreciated, before we decide if we need to use another product.

Thanks!

Please make sure that you have installed a TFS client. It's included not in every edition of VS http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=40776

Hello,

I use dbForge Studio for Oracle Version 3.7.472 and dbForge Studio for SQL Server Version 4.5.60 on Windows 8.1 X64.

I try to connect to a TFS 2013 server. I installed Visual Studio Premium 2013 and i installed Visual Studio 2013 Teamexplorer.

In both dbForge Studio's i take the errormessage "TFS Client not installed" when i do the following steps:

In Menu Tools-->Version Control Manager --> New Version Control Alias --> Select Version Control Type = TFS.

Picture see Post link from brunopacola from Fri 12 Apr 2013 12:34

What should i do too solve the Problem.

Kind regards

Hello,

Thanks for the quick Response.

Your solution only solves the problem that the message no longer appears, but I can't connect to the TFS 2013. The object model is for the TFS 2010, and only need to be installed if you do not have Visual Studio or Team Explorer.

I have installed Visual Studio Premium 2013 and Team Explorer 2013.

Kind regards
