Cannot install on Vista when folder documents is moved to a network resource

I have Vista release installed with a documents-Folder moved to a mapped network resource (Drive x:\..)

If I try to install the latest version of MySQL-Tools I get a 1327: "Invalid drive x:\"

Ive tried to change my environment-Paths from %appdata%temp to fixed c:\temp - with no effect.

If I Install, using a native local user account, an error 1722 occured:

"Product: Core Lab MySQLDirect Data Provider for .NET 2 Professional -- Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action Install, location: C:\Windows\Installer\MSIF152.tmp, command: "

The Message end here - no clue what command it could be..

What can I else try to install this drivers?
Regards,
Thorsten Claus

There is a problem in installing MySQLDirect .NET on Windows Vista.
We are trying to fix it as soon as possible.

Please let me know if I can test anything regarding this error
