Problems with "Credentials stored securely in server" for Subscriptions

Post by Guest » Fri 25 Aug 2006 20:59

I'm having problems with sending out email subscriptions for Reporting Services with the MySQL data provider. In order for subscriptions to be possible, the credentials need to be stored securely in the server. However, when I try to do that, and then try to view the reports, I get this error:

An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
The data source 'X' uses a managed data provider which does not implement IDbConnectionExtension. Only Windows Integrated Security or No Credentials are supported. (rsManagedDataProviderWithoutConnectionExtension)

Does MySQLDirect.NET implement IDbConnectionExtension? I'm at a complete loss on how to go about this. Any help/advice would be sincerely appreciated! Thanks!

We are going to support Reporting Services in the next major version of MySQLDirect.
