SSL Support

I am connecting to a MySQL database that supports an E-Commerce website, and I need the ability to have a secure connection. My application is written in VB .Net and security is a big issue.
Are there any plans to have SSL support in a future version of the MySQLDirect .Net data provider?

We plan to add SSL support to MySQLDirect .NET Data Provider in next versions. (It will take approximately two months).

Have there been any developments in the MySQLDirect .NET data provider? I would very much like to use your product, but I require SSL support.
