I cannot download the 1.70 developer tools beta from the registered user area is this using a different password and login? Also i having a issue with the 2 buttons on the command generator tab when you configure a data adapter using 3.5 beta. They seem to be greyed out i see the table in the list and its selected but they are still greyed out.

MySql Developer Tools 1.70 beta is available from the registered user page on our site. We do not have problems downloading it. As for the problem with 2 buttons, it has been already fixed. Look forward to next release.

The password for the mysql direct .net 3.50 beta works for itself but it won't allow me to download it using the same pass and login for the 1.70 beta developer tools. Any thoughts on that ?

I got the it to work today hmm wierd. So i got the developer tools. Quick ?... Is it better to use the command builder object then using the command generator on the data adapter or the other way around?

You do not need to go to a separate page for MySql Developer Tools. You should download it from the MySQLDirect .NET page.
It is better to use command builder object.
