Frustration with evaluation

I tried installing the demo and it told me my 30 day eval was up. .
So I uninstalled it, reinstalled it. Now, whenever I try to drag and drop any of the data componants and such in .net it says "pointer error".
I am getting *very* frustrated and my email was not returned. Not a good way to make a sale boys.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
