Hi

I recently had to move my VB.net projects to a new folder and now the licensing for dotconnect is not working. If I compile and distribute it does not work on the target computers it says license not found. If I check the tools > MySQL > license information in visual studio it comes back with an object not found error. If I start a new project and add dotconnect to that everything works fine including the tools > MySQL > license information. I am guessing I have to change a path somewhere after I moved the projects but I am not sure. I did trying reinstalling but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

We could not reproduce the issue. The project location doesn't matter. If dotConnect for MySQl is installed on your computer, the license will be embedded to your project after each build.
Probably some part of the project was not copied. Or the reference to the licenses.licx file became invalid.

Please also tell us the following:
1. dotConnect for MySQL version x.x.xxx;
2. Visual Studio version with the Service Pack version.
