License issue - Trial Expired

Post by Miros » Wed 13 Jul 2011 09:30

Hi there,

First, let me underline that I have tried all suggested solutions to this issue, mentioned in your licensed section and in the forum.

I get this error in my project: http://www.ge.tt/#8sVTKv5/v

This is what is installed: http://ge.tt/9CplKv5?c

I tried to uninstall, clear temporary files and reinstall - didn't help.

I tried clean solution, delete bin and obj folders, rebuild all - didn't help.

I tried using Tools -> MySQL Licensing information - no help here either...

I don't know if it is important but I recently changed my motherboard - don't know if that is a part of the licensing process.

Please help me out guys!

Problem solved

I finally solved the problem, and thought that I'd share the information with others.

1. Uninstall devArt dotConnect
2. Remove all references to devArt dotConnect in Global Assembly Cache. In windows 7 this is done by clicking Start » Run » C:\Windows\Assembly\gac, go one level up in the Explorer window and make sure that you delete devart references in the folders GAC, GAC_32, GAC_64, GAC_MSILand and temp. Actually the easiest thing is to do a search in explorer.
3. Reinstall devArt dotConnect.
4. Use the VS » Tools » MySQL » License information tool to fix any issues.
5. Clean and Rebuild you solution.
