Cannot Connect to MySQL DB after sometime

I encounter this weird problem that my asp.net page cannot connect to the database after sometimes and I need to restart the IIS (without restarting the server or MySQL) at last once a day in order to solve the problem.

I had set max connection to 999 and I am using version 2.0.4.0. Please advise. Thanks

This version is quite obsolete. There is no reason to use such an old version of MySQLDirect .NET. You can download version 2.80 using link that can be found in the registration letter.

We recommend to track new releases of MySQLDirect .NET to be sure you have most stable version of our provider.
