dotNet does not show up after installation

I install DotNet for MySQL, but nothing shows up in VS 2010 after I install. Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this?

Please tell us:
1) the version and edition of your dotConnect for MySQL installation package;
2) the version and edition of your Visual Studio.
Be aware that Express Edition doesn't include the design time features (you can only add components to Toolbox manually and edit them via the Properties window).

The Dot Connect version is the latest dot Connect express on your website.
The Visual Studio is version 2010.

Could you please explain what you expected to see in VS 2010 after installation of dotConnect for MySQL Express?
Express Edition of dotConnect for MySQL doesn't include design time features and
DDEX integration.

After I install dotConnect, I go to the server explorer, but there is no MySQL server.

Please install dotConnect for MySQL Professional Trial instead of the Express version:

Unlike the Trial version, the Express edition does not include any integration features:
http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/mysql/editions.html
Also, please note that the Express edition of Visual Studio does not allow installing custom packages, hence no integration (except for adding components to the toolbox) is available for Visual Studio Express.
