Hello everyone.

I am a student. I bought dotConnect for MySQL Developer version.

Usually help files and other documentation comes with examples, but the sample projects included in the package does not run in Visual Studio 2008.

I want to find out if someone can recommend a manual for beginners in the use of dotConnect for MySQL or where I can download the sample projects for Visual Studio 2008.

I am especially interested to learn about the use of Datalink control.

You are right, our samples were created with Visual Studio 2005, but you can easily convert them for using with Visual Studio 2008: open sample's solution file in Visual Studio 2008 - IDE will run Visual Studio Conversion Wizard automatically, go through its several steps and you will get the VS2008 solution. If you encounter any difficulties, specify the errors you will get during conversion.

Thank you for you reply. I tried Visual Studio Conversion Wizard for CRM and General sample.
