Please try dotConnect for MySQL version 5.00 Beta that is available for download now.
This beta version introduces the following features:

• MyDirect .NET renamed to dotConnect for MySQL
• Supported LINQ to MySQL
• Added Schema Modeler for LINQ to MySQL
• Added free Express Edition with basic connectivity features
• Added Source Edition with source code of run time assemblies (Devart.Data.dll and Devart.Data.MySql.dll)
• Support for .NET Framework 1.x is discontinued

Entity Framework support

• Fixed type mapping in models with inherited entities
• NULLs can now be used in typed expressions
