Why do I need more than MySQL Connector?

Post by robertnzana » Fri 12 Sep 2008 05:11

I installed the latest version of the MySQL Connector (5.2). It's free and seems to work out of the box with Visual Studio 2008. I can create tables, modify them, add data, create datasets, etc...

What is the real benefit of purchasing Devart's MyDirect.NET and/or dbForgeFusion for MySQL? Does it just give you a few extra things?

I'm thinking about dishing out the $$$$ but I'm not sure I see the benefit yet...

You can learn about the advantages of MyDirect .NET here: http://www.devart.com/mysqlnet/

You can also download the Trial edition of MyDirect .NET from there and evaluate it freely during 30 days. We hope you will like the functionality of our product.
