Is there a help file that describes the way to use the membership provider capability of CoreLab.MySql.Web?

You can read the following chapter of documentation: ms-help://CoreLab.MySql/MyDirect/AspProviders.html

As an example, you may look through the demo projects. I suggest you to examine this one - Core Lab MyDirect for .NET2 -> Samples -> Web folder of the “Start” menu.
