2.80 and .NET 2.0.50215 (comes with VS 2005 beta 2)

After installing mysqlnet280pro2.msi on Windows Server 2003 with Visual Studio Beta 2, I'm getting the following error on Visual Studio startup:

Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to inteface type 'EnvDTE.TaskList'.

And I also want to be able to work with MySQL 5.4. Please assign a proper priority to testing with the configuration described above. I bet it is going to be very popular.

MySQLDirect .NET v 2.80 is designed for .NET Framework v2.0.40607. We will support newest version of .NET Framework in next version.
MySQL Server 5.0.4 beta is not tested with the current version of MySQLDirect .NET
Look forward for the next build.

When?

When the new build that works with .NET 2.0.50215 is expected?

My desperation grows. I'm getting ready to go to the dark side - embrace SQL Server, which works very nicely with .NET 2.0 Beta 2.

next impatient

I don't think I wish to use MS SQL, but I'm looking for promised new build as well.

Since I have Studio Beta 2, I'd like to work with MySQL Direct .NET

So, don't you have any idea when it will be available ??

Thanks

me too
