Collect and Analyze SQL Server Events with New Free Tool!

Post by Devart » Wed 08 Apr 2015 09:30

We are pleased to announce the new FREE tool — dbForge Event Profiler for SQL Server.

The tool provides convenient GUI to SQL Trace for inspecting a Database Engine instance. You can capture and save data about each event to a trace file to analyze it later. For instance, you can audit a production environment to determine which stored procedures are affecting performance by executing too slowly.
Also, this information can be used to troubleshoot a wide range of SQL Server issues, such as poorly-performing queries, locking and blocking, excessive table/index scanning, and a lot more.

Key Features
  • Watch the trace results as the trace runs
  • Events sorting and grouping
  • Start, stop, modify the trace results as necessary
  • Multiple event profiling templates
  • Saving trace results to a file for the future use
  • Clear wizard interface
