Hi,
We are using 'dbexpmda30.dll' which works fine for windows xp and 2003, but when we try to connect a windows 98 machine it doesn't work at all. looks like te database is not found.

Is your dll compatible with windows 98 at all?

Thanks

We couldn't reproduce the problem.
Please send us (dbxmda*crlab*com) a complete small sample to demonstrate it.
Also supply us following information
- Exact version of IDE
- Exact version of dbxMda
- Exact version of MySQL server and MySQL client

Yes, it is compatible. A program written with BDS 2006 with BDS 2006 using dbxpmda30.dll can be run under Win98. We have tested that the program can connect to the server, execute SQL statements and display results.

It is unlikely.
