Hi,
the dbexpsda30.dll installed from the 'dbExpress driver for SQL Server Professional version 3.20.10 (04.05.07)' installer has a File Version of '3.10.8.0'.
Is this an old DLL or is the File Version wrong ?
Regards
Henrik

Thank you for information.
It's a known problem and we've already fixed it.
We just haven't changed the version of the dll.
This fix will be included in the next build of DbxSda.

Hi,
we just changed a big Live ERP System from Delphi 7 to BDS 2006 unsing dbexpsda30.dll version 3.10.8.0.
We have some non reproducable trouble with access violations inside the dll and want to change to the latest version 3.20.10.
Unfortunatelly the version information is still wrong in this dll. This is very confusing for our support staff.
Can you please build a DLL with correct version information ?
Thanks, Regards

I am working on the same project as "mac500" and henrik above.
Our problems consist of seemingly random access violations in the dbexpsda30.dll. But we are also getting integer overflow exceptions, on date field conversions.
I notice that there was a new bug fix release of the version "40" which included a fix of bigint overflow errors.
Is it possible that this bug also exists in the "30" version?

The fix with BIGINT overflow was applied to all drivers (dbexpsda.dll, dbexpsda30.dll, dbexpsda40.dll) of DbxSda 4.20. Are you sure that it is the same problem you have encountered? You can download the trial version of DbxSda 4.20 and check your supposition. If the problem appears with DbxSda 4.20, we will need more information about it.

Thanks for the reply. It seems there was some confusion about version numbers here. We thought that to build dbexpsda30 we needed a version 3.xx.xx. We will try the latest now.
