Hello,

I tried to run my app with Windows Vista and received the following error:
Wrong MDAC version. Download latest MDAC version.

With Google I found the reason for the problem:
http://msmvps.com/blogs/kine/archive/20 ... a-RC1.aspx

I see that the problem is caused by Vista. But can we get an update in which the problem is fixed?

Thank you for information.
It's known problem and we've already fixed it.
Please download the last DbxSda version.

I downloaded the newest dbExpress for SQL Server I could find (Version 3.10.6), but didn't help. Problem still exists.
There is no hint in readme / history files concerning this problem.
What can I do?

The DbxSda version 3.10.7 is available for download now.
This version includes limited support for Windows Vista Beta 2.
Please download DbxSda 3.10.7 and try again.

Ok, this is possibly interesting for me, although this thread is a couple of years old:
I got this error on using the driver with Windows 7. Do you think it could be because of the same reason?

What's the procedure to get a driver update if I already have a licensed driver copy?
