Hello,

I'm working with a grid that doesn't recognize the TSqlTimeStamp field and so I can't use its date time calendar editor which is based on TDateTime field.

Isn't there a way to workaround this problem and get a TDateTimeField form the TSQLDataSet ..

Thanks,
Davide

Not, dbExpress technology doesn't allow it.

Hi. Can you please elaborate. We have a similar problem, trying to use a Delphi 7 server (with dbExpress) and a Delphi 5 client (ClientDataSets). But the client will not recognize the DateTime fields. We managed to workaround this with money fields (EnabledBDC). Are there no equivalent to the timestamp?

DbxSda must be compartible with standard Borland driver. We got your request and now examines the problem. Unfortunately now we couldn't give you any information. As soon as we solve the problem, we'll let you know.

We considered an ability of adding a new option. Now it is inexpedient because of a little necessity.
