Proper way to handle connection lost

Post by esasse » Fri 13 Mar 2009 18:46

What's the proper way to handle a lost connection and reconnect automatically? I mean, when I have a TSQLConnection connected to the server and the server goes offline for a while (restart of the server for example).

I expected the driver to reconnect automatically, but it's not happening.

Thanks

Thank you for information. We have reproduced this problem and fixed it. This fix will be included in the next DbxSda build.

And when you expect to have a new build available? I need this ASAP.

One very annoying issue I have with Devart is that I never know when you have a new build. I have to keep coming to the forums to check for new releases.

Please, create some way to notify customers about new releases.

Thanks.

Thank you for the advice.
The next DbxSda build will be released by the end of this week.

No, it's not. When I log in I only see 4.45.14.
