Hi

I've got Delphi 2007 for win32. I upgraded my dbExpress driver from v3 in mid July after following the instructions in the announcement email: "To start DbxSda subscription please register Version upgrade from dbExpress drivers ordering page. Please note that all registered users will get a free annual DbxSda Subscription when they upgrade to the version 4.00"

... and so I've been happily using my registered copy of "dbExpress driver for SQL Server version 4". Well, at least I was until Friday. It's Mon 6th Aug and I'm getting this:

Sorry, but your 30-day trial period has expired !
You may register DbxSda at http://www.crlab.com

At first it was a bit of a surprise but I thought a game of reinstalling everything might sort it out.

I've uninstalled using control panel add/remove, deleted anything that looks like corelab from the registry, redownloaded the install program dbxsda400.exe from corelab server (file hasn't changed since last time), reinistalled but still get the same error.

The libraryname in my TCRSQLConnection is dbexpsda40.dll

Apologies in advance if I've missed something obvious in the new subscription approach to the drivers. I've checked my creditcard and I've definitely paid up! What do I do to connect to my databases?! I'm stuck and hours are flying by!

Regards
Chris

PS. this same problem is happening on oracle as well. I notice the dates of the dll's is 6th July 2007, 30+ days ago.

Follow the following steps:
1) Uninstall DbxSda.
2) Search for dbexpsda*.dll files at your HDD and delete them.
3) Install DbxSda again.

Yep! I've just unearthed a stray (old trial version) dbexpsda40.dll.

I've removed it from the HDD, taken it outside and shot it twice through the API. It'll never darken my door again. All works fine. Thanks
