Will OraDirect 3.0 have support for Oracle Objects with Direct Mode?

Hi,
Will OraDirect 3.0 have support for Oracle Objects with Direct Mode? If not, then will future releases have support for Objects with Direct mode?

Also, does OraDirect work with the Oracle 10g Instant client, or do we need to install the ENTIRE 10g client tools? We tried using OraDirect 3.0 beta with the 10g Instant client, and set the registry oaths to point to the folder where we unzipped the InstantClient files (including oci.dll), but then we get a TNS error:
"ORA-12514: TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor"

I guess we have no other option but to install the complete 10g client tools, do we?

Thanks,
-Howell.

I don't think that OraDirect v3.0 supports objects in direct mode. But this would be a VERY useful feature! Our stored procedures also require objects...

Well, I know that the 3.0 BETA version does not support Oracle Objects, but will the FINAL release of OraDirect 3.0 support objects? If not, then will future releases support objects? We are using objects extensively in our code and would prefer to use Direct Mode instead of the OCI.dll.

Thanks,
-Howell.

In OraDirect .NET 3.0 release object types will be supported completely but not in the Direct mode.

Yes, I know that Oracle Objects work with OraDirect 2.5 and 3.0 beta. But WILL there be support for objects in Direct Mode? I need to use objects AND direct mode.

Thanks you,
-Howell

We do not plane to support objects in Direct mode
