Session Provider

Hi,
I am a new user to OraDirect 3.5.
I have tried to start using the session provider. I have it up as default except I have changed to use cookies.
Everything appears to work fine - I have a session record in the database everytime I run my application.
However, I have just added code to Session_Start in Global.asax and it fire everytime I move pages within the app.
If I move session state back to Inproc, then everything works OK.
Have I missed something???
