I retested the case and I can say that the bug still exists in dotConnect for Oracle 9.13.1107.
Do you have any update on this "investigation"?
Can you declare what parameter or environment should be used to avoid this bug until you create patch?

We are working on solving the issue. There is no timeframe.

The bug with throwing AccessViolationException by OracleCommand.ExecuteScalar() in the OCI mode is fixed in dotConnect for Oracle v9.14.1228: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=44776.
