EntityDeveloper.ServerOptions Exception

I was previously able to update our edml file in Visual Studio 2015 but as of three days ago I now get the following error when the wizard tries to compare the schema:
The type initializer for 'EntityDeveloper.ServerOptions' threw an exception.
We haven't changed anything but I am currently using version of dotConnect for Oracle and cannot seem to find information relating to this in the forums. Any help would be appreciated.

I am using Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise and Windows 7.

Please upgrade to the newest (9.1.55) build of dotConnect for Oracle in the following way:
1) uninstall dotConnect for Oracle and other Devart ADO.NET products
2) make sure that there are no Devart.* and policy.*.Devart.* files in the following folders:
* GAC 2.0 (\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\)
* GAC 4.0 (\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\)
3) clear the directories:
* \Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\Devart\
* \Program Files (x86)\Devart\
* \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Devart\
* \Documents and Settings\All Users\Devart\EntityDeveloper\
* \Documents and Settings\All Users\Devart\dotConnect\
4) run installation of dotConnect for Oracle v9.1.55 via its right click > Run as administrator menu

If this doesn't help, send us a test project and specify the steps we should follow to reproduce the issue in our environment. In case of >2MB attachment, we recommend either using some file exchange server (send us the corresponding link) or uploading a test project to our FTP server (the credentials will be provided by email request).

I did follow the steps and I still receive the same error. When trying to create a test project to send, when I go to create an edml it gives me the following error while Retrieving Metadata:
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Types, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

Please navigate to the Tools > Options menu of Visual Studio, open Entity Developer > Server Options > Oracle and press the Reset button (confirm Yes). Is there any error?
