I recently upgraded my Devart version from V8.4.274.0 to V9.1.45 but the newer version is looking for Oraclient11.dll in the Oracle instant client directory (I am using instantclient_11_2). Is this dependency recently added on the newer version?

By the way it is Devart Dot Connect for Oracle V9.1.45.

We have reproduced the issue. We will investigate it and post here about the results as soon as possible.

Is there any updates on the issue?

We've have also been hit with exactly the same issue after upgrading from v8 to latest version.
I've already sent a support request. It seems that it's only happening with InstantClient (works fine with full oracle client). It also doesn't affect all EF requests. In our case it only happens when XMLTYPE columns are present in the response.

Dear Devart, can you please look at this, as it seems to be a critical issue.

We have fixed the bug with the error "Unable to load oraclient.dll" for Oracle Instant Client when working with data of the XMLType datatype. We will post here when the corresponding build of dotConnect for Oracle is available for download.

Excellent! Any idea on ETA for the release?

We are planning to release the next public build of dotConnect for Oracle at the end of the week.
