Hi Team,

We are receiving the below error in our application which is using Devart Dotconnect to connect to oracle database(11g).

ORA-24324: service handle not initialized

Please note that, this is an intermittent issue, which pops up while interacting with database.

Kindly confirm whether this a Devart Dot Connect issue or Oracle Database issue.

We think that this issue is not related to dotConnect for Oracle. This issue occurs when Oracle database is not started. For more information, please refer to http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_ora_24324_s ... alized.htm

Please also try establishing a connection with SQL*Plus. Is the connection established successfully?
