Hi There,

after the installation of dotConnect every Visual Studio instance shows the error:
The remote name could not be resolved: 'devart.com'
The next update check will be done in 7 days.

We don't have internet access from the developer machines for security reasons and the error prevents the edit and continue feature of VS from working.
Is there a way to disable the update check completely?

Yes, you can disable the update check. To disable it, in Visual Studio, on the Tools menu point Entity Developer, and then click Options.
Then, on the Entity Developer -> Environment page of the Options dialog box clear the Check updates on startup once a week check box.
