Out company recently switched from TFS 2010 to 2012. Our product which uses DevArt dotConnect for Oracle compiles fine with TFS Build, but we are receiving a runtime error regarding licensing. This was never an issue before, since we embedded the .licx file as a resource in the application.

The error reads "License not valid due to the problems with dotConnect for Oracle installation".

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any idea what might have happened with the licensing dependency?

Have you reinstalled dotConnect for Oracle after upgrade from 2010 to 2012? If not, please reinstall the provider. Also regenerate the license resource with Tools > Oracle > License Information or manually (http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/oracle ... nsing.html).

Thanks, it was simply a matter of installing DevArt on the new build server. We did run into an issue where the clickonce publish options reset themselves when we updated to a 2012 project, such that the devart dlls were not included in the manifest. That was simple enough to fix.
