I had an earlier Pro version of Devart over which I installed Devart 6.0 trial version. Now I uninstalled the trial (Control Panel -> Programs -> Uninstall program) and am trying to install 5.70 pro version but the installer pops up a message as below:

"The installer detected an incompatible version of another Devart product.

Devart.Data assembly version 5.0.313.0 is found in Global Assembly Cache.
This product is compatible with Devart.Data.dll version 5.0.143.0."

I checked the GAC and there are no Devart dlls present. However there are lot of references to Devart in the registry. How do I clean up the system so that there is no trace of Devart?

Please uninstall all Devart ADO.NET providers (via Start menu or Control Panel), open the %Windows%\assembly\GAC_MSIL\ folder and remove all Devart.* and policy.*.Devart.* folders, then try running the 5.70 installation again.

If this operation is successful, clear the bin and obj folders of your project and rebuild the project with 5.70.
