Request for new functionality - compression

I don't know if this is even feasible, but it would be really nice if we could compress the data going back and forth between Oracle. We have a number of users accessing via wireless VPN and it is slow. I've done everything I can to eliminate data that we don't need, but if it could be compressed, that would make a huge difference.

We do not have a technical possibility to implement compression when working with Oracle. We recommend you to optimize your code if possible.

oracle supports network compression.
Does the latest versions of ODAC support this compression?

ODAC supports compression described in the provided document only when using OCI Mode
