We read all your feedback reports to know how we may make our products better. The opinion of our users is important to us. Unfortunately, substantial part of user feedback reports rate our documentation as poor.

Last couple of months we have been working on dotConnect for Oracle documentation improvement. We have made improvements in two directions:
  1. Better table of contents, improving of current articles and writing new ones.
  2. Improving class reference (increasing number of samples, extending descriptions)
You can download the latest version of our documentation here. Older version of this documentation can be downloaded here for comparison.

We would like to know your opinion on the documentation changes, and which problems need more detailed coverage. Please leave your comments here or in our blog article.

I downloaded it and tried to open it, but no pages are available... So I went back to this forum and instead of downloading, I opened it right there and it still gives an error saying : "This program cannot load the web page"...
What am I missing??

Looks like your system blocks downloaded chm files because of security reasons. You may unblock the downloaded chm file in the following way:

Right-click the file and choose Properties from the popup menu, then click the Unblock button in the Properties dialog.

You may read more about this issue here: http://blog.crowe.co.nz/archive/2007/04/13/719.aspx

Devart Guys,

After unblocking the CHM file, I had a look. Nice job on documenting the Entity Developer, and Devart.Data namespaces. However, the LINQ section is still missing some details of methods such as 'InsertAllOnSubmit()'.

I'm very happy that you've developed DotConnect so closely to the MS LINQ library...makes finding examples easier.

BTW - The published documentation link is returning a 404. Is the doc site down?

By the way, I have checked the latest .chm file, and it contains a description of the InsertAllOnSubmit method. Could you please specify the version of .chm you were using?
