ChangePassword and expired password (ORA-28001) feature

Post by tok77 » Fri 17 Apr 2009 09:36

Hi

First of all, let me to say that I'm very satisfied customer, but there is always room for improvement ....

Feature 'ChangePassword' and expired password (ORA-28001) is important in our business applications.

When (this feature) will be available in direct mode for 'dotConnect for Oracle' ?

So, is there any chance for this in near future, because without this whole concept of direct mode is incomplete !

Thanks in advance for Your replay.

Unfortunately, we can't tell the exact date when the aforementioned features will be implemented into our product.

Sorry, but OracleConnection.ChangePassword() is not available in the Direct mode yet. We will try again to implement this feature and notify you about the results as soon as possible.

We have supported OracleConnection.ChangePassword() in the Direct mode. I will post here when the corresponding build is available for download.
