How to influence Oracle Object Cache Size in OCI base technology

Post by tgondorf » Mon 23 May 2005 13:22

We use ORACLE user types together with OraDirect 2.5 Pro.
It appears sometimes that the ORACLE object cache seems to be to small for some operations. This is not reproducible at any time ...

Metalink says that you should try to increase the object cache size by increasing OCI_ATTR_CACHE_OPT_SIZE and OCI_ATTR_CACHE_MAX_SIZE.

The thing is that i cannot access these settings through OraDirect (or i did not find it in the documentation ...)

Can you give me some hints how to increase the size of the object cache with OraDirect 2.5 Pro?

Thanks a lot for your help in advance ...
