Entity Framework with Oracle8

Hi,
I tried to use the entity framework with an Oracle8
database. I got an error that it is only supported with
Oracle9.2 or later.
Will Oracle8 be supported?

No Oracle 8 support is planned in the nearest future.

You are right, OraDirect .NET supports Oracle server 8i. But Entity Framework is supported with Oracle server 9.2.0.4 or later.
