I have to test the OraDirect functions on my PPC

First i Installed the oranet2.exe ( OraDirec.Net 2 Trial) downloaded from the crlab Site but the included dlls are not for use on WinCe => I got som error by including a sample in my Project. ( OK => My Error, But a included Samples works on my XP-PC )

Then i take the oranetmob2.exe. The included DLLs seemed to be better and the sample-Application could be compiled and my application starts but by connecting a Oracle-Database i get a License error. Also by trying to run a saple on my PPC or the emulator.

Where is my error btw. what have i to do right.

First I have to demonstrate the real working of this component before I can by it.

What was the exact error message?
Check the date on your PPC. It might be far away from the date on your PC, so the license "thinks" it is expired.

License not found: Please view "Licensing" Topic in OraDirect .NET documentation for details or contact Core Lab tecnical support.


I'm understanding the documentation in this case that there must be a license.licx file. Which I'm missing on my installation.

The Date/Time on the PPC is the same like the PC, because i have the option on that the Active Sync set the PPC date/time everytime I'm syncing

By trying to run a Sample in the Emulator the same error occurs.

Please create a small application with one OracleConnection component and send me all source files and compiled binaries.
