Orderby clause automatically added

Post by Alfred96 » Wed 08 Aug 2018 12:24

Hi,

I have the following statement:

Code: Select all

var query = from lck in dataContext.EntityLockSet
                            select new Lock
                            {
                                LockId = lck.Id,
                                LockDescr = lck.Description,
                             };

There is no any ordering if we call

Code: Select all

    // https://www.devart.com/dotconnect/oracle/docs/?dbmonitor.html
    var monitor = new OracleMonitor(){IsActive=true};

    query.ToList();
Most likely, you materialize your IQueryable via binding to some grid that adds ordering to the original query.

If this doesn't help, upload a simple test project for reproducing to ftp://ftp.devart.com (credentials: anonymous / yourEmail).
