Access violation in Windows Server 2008

Post by cmagno » Tue 10 Feb 2009 19:02

Hi everybody. I downloaded the dbExpress driver for Oracle trial version for Delphi 7. I'm doing some tests with Windows Server 2008 x64 and x32. I declare a TSQLConnection object but when I set the Connected property to true (in execution time) occurs an access violation error (x64 and x32). I did the same test with Windows Server Server and I didn't have any problem. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, at the end I meant " I did the same test with Windows Server 2003 and I didn't have any problem".

Hello again. Can you tell me if your driver has incompatibilities with Windows Server 2008?. I appreciate your help 'cause I need to know if your product is what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Driver: dbExpress driver for Oracle 4.40
IDE: Delphi 7
DB: Oracle 10g
OS: Windows Server 2008 Standard (64 bits and 32 bits)

I received the driver you sent me, I made some changes and finally I could connect to the database but now I've got another problem. I'll write a new post. Thanks for your help.
