HI Everyone,

I have some questions to the Salesforce Excel Plugin.

1) is there a way to deactivate the message popup when inserting new rows where the equired fields have not been filled yet?

Its very annoying.


2) How can we use the Excel autocomplete functionality. Using the little square in the right bottom border you normally drag the cellcontent over other cells. Excel then automatically fills the cells with either teh same value or even counts of the cell value end with a number.

3)Is there any plan to support entering multiple new entries at once?

We will investigate the possibility to turn off popup messages when a required field is not filled. We will post here when we get any results.

At the moment such Excel functionality is not available after activating the Edit Mode. We will also investigate the possibility to implement this feature, but there is no timeframe at the moment.

At the moment there is no possibility to copy and paste several rows in the Edit mode. We will investigate the possibility to support such feature, but there is no timeframe.

The investigation is in progress. As soon as we have any results, we will notify you.

We have supported Excel's fill handle of the Auto Fill feature in the Edit Mode.
We have changed the behaviour: now popups are not displayed if there is an error in a cell in the Edit Mode
We have supported the possibility to insert several rows at once in the Edit Mode

We will post here when the corresponding build of Excel Add-ins is available for download.

New version of Devart Excel Add-ins 1.7 is released.
