Hi,
I have EntityDAC 1.5.10 installed in Delphi 10.1 Berlin on Windows 10 64-bit.
The 5 standard data providers appear in the "Install Packages" list, but with the message "c:\program files (x86)\embarcadero\studio\18.0\bin\XXXDataProvider240.bpl not found".
Indeed, these BPLs are in c:\program files (x86)\Devart\EntityDAC\Bin\Delphi24\Win64.
However, if I try to select one of these BPLs from the Win64 directory under Devart, I get the error "Can't load package ... %1 is not a valid Win32 application."
Why isn't the EntityDAC Pro installer registering these properly? How can I manually install the BPLs in the IDE?
EntityDAC data providers not installed
Re: EntityDAC data providers not installed
Problem solved
I originally installed Delphi 10.1 Pro, then upgraded to Enterprise.
So, I uninstalled Delphi 10.0 and third party libraries and components completely, and then removed any traces in the file system (under c:\Programs (x86) and c:\Users) and registry.
I then installed the Enterprise version directly and reinstalled the third party libraries and components, including EntityDAC Pro.
This resulted in a fully functional installation
