Code Review Check-In Policy not being applied to every user

Post by PlasmaEye » Thu 02 Apr 2015 21:52

Environment:
VS 2013 Pro
TFS 2013

I am getting a weird behavior with the Code Review Check-In policy. My machine gives me a policy warning before I can check in changes. Other developers do not get this warning. The policy has even been set twice through the Source Control settings and it does not show up on the other developer's machines although it shows up twice on mine. Setting the policy through another developer's machine does not change the behavior.

Anyone else getting this?

Please check your colleagues' settings of Review Assistant project. For example, Review Assistant policy will not show its warning if the working directory folder at the Review Assistant settings points to incorrect folder. We have already fixed such problems and fixes will be included into the upcoming release.

Correcting their working directory solved the problem. Thank you!
