I have the service running under a domain account, however when I go to Users -> Active directory no locations show up (and no users). Are there special provisions that have to be done to allow review assistant to query active directory?
Just for reference, the user the service is running as does have LDAP read permissions.

We allow adding users, that are accessible through client and server. Make sure that these two conditions are met.
