Licensing

Post by terris » Fri 20 Feb 2009 22:48

Hello, I'm trying to use the UniDirect.NET provider with SQL Server 2008 Integration Services. However, when I attempt to use it, I get an error dialog about licensing.

I read the help file for licensing and even got lc.exe to work but I'm pretty sure that I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Certainly I am not supposed to alter Microsoft's executable!

Thank you.

Our licensing requires the availability of the license resource in the end application. In your situation, it is necessary to create the Library-wrapper class for UniDirect .NET, that will be implementing the needed interfaces, and to use this class instead of using UniDirect .NET directly. Please refer to our online documentation to learn the class library licensing: http://www.devart.com/dotconnect/univer ... nsing.html, the Class Libraries Support section.
