SQL Complete adds 7 seconds to the VS2017 startup time

Post by tsahi » Mon 11 Dec 2017 06:48

I just started my Visual Studio 2017, and received a warning in a yellow bar at the top of the window, that some extensions are slowing startup times. When I clicked, one of the listed extensions was SQL Complete, which adds an average of 7 seconds by Visual Studio's calculation. I like SQL Complete allot, but can this be improved? perhaps it can be loaded only when a query window is opened. Until then, I don't really need it.
