Execute (F5) resets position in query

Post by MEngelbyDev » Mon 19 Dec 2016 17:51

Greetings,

I am using version Pro 5.3.56. I have multiple queries in an SQL editor window. Sometimes I run an individual query by pressing F8. That retains the cursor position within the editor window. However, when I press F5 to execute to entire set of queries, the cursor position is reset to the top of the window. I've looked through the options and do not see an option to not to reset the cursor position. Unless I am missing it of course.

Please advise. If you need more information I'll be happy to get it to you.

There is no such an option. Though, we will reconsider the existing behavior when developing the next product builds.

Thanks for the prompt answer. When doing research with multiple queries, retaining the cursor position certainly saves a lot of time.
