Retain width of suggestion list?

Post by EAustin » Wed 14 Dec 2016 15:15

Hello,
Hope I'm posting this in the right place.
I haven't been able to find an answer to the following:
Can I permanently retain the width of the SQLComplete suggestion list after I've adjusted it?
For long table names the suggestion list only shows me the first part of the table name.
I can manually drag the column wider but that wider setting is not retained.
Is there a way to associate the wider suggestion list with a profile, or something like that?
Thanks,
Eric

There was a bug in the earlier versions of dbForge SQL Complete that is now fixed. Please check that you are using the latest product build 5.5.218 https://www.devart.com/dbforge/sql/sqlc ... nload.html

Hmm, thanks for that info.
I was on 5.5.215; now I'm upgraded to 5.5.218.
After upgrading I see the suggestion BOX retains it's adjusted size, but I'm trying to get the width of the table name COLUMN to retain.
When I widen the table suggestions column to view the full table name, and then start typing another statement, the table suggestions column returns to it's original width, covering up part of the table name.
Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?
Thanks,
Eric

In fact, the suggestion list's columns adjust on the best fit basis.

Could you please provide us a screenshot displaying the issue?

Thank you for the reply.

We will reconsider the existing behavior when developing the next product builds.
