Edit views in GUI mode (changing the default)

Post by ScottStonehouse » Mon 20 Oct 2014 14:27

I've just downloaded the express edition, and trying to see if this suits our needs.

I'm wondering if there is a way to have a double click on a view open in the GUI designer mode rather than SQL text mode. I have a user who will want to see the GUI every time, and switching to the GUI every time is an extra step. Is there a way to change the default behavior?

Thanks, this looks like a great product!

For a procedure or function you can select either to execute or open object editor on the double-click action. Please refer to the 'General, Database Explorer Options Dialog Box' topic in the product's Help documentation for details.

Also, you can add a suggestion on our UserVoice forum where other users can vote for it http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/2251 ... rt-general
