Re: Windows 10 Update KB 5006670 is breaking Entity Developer
I'm also experiencing this issue.
KB5006670 was recently pushed to our machines. After the reboot Entity Developer hangs at the splash screen.
There is a crash reporter window that show in the alt+tab list but it won't focus.
Edit: I've found that if you go into Task Manager and kill the Entity Developer task with the "generic window" icon then it will finish loading as expected. I don't know if there are any other side effects at this time.

I can confirm that uninstalling KB5006670 is a VERY temporary fix.

Re: Windows 10 Update KB 5006670 is breaking Entity Developer
Just found out you can still use the command line utility (ed.exe) to generate code from your model. Maybe this will help someone.
Re: Windows 10 Update KB 5006670 is breaking Entity Developer
Creation of an Devart Entity Model fails with the following message of the Visual Studio (2017 and 2019):
"An item with the same key has already been added."
"An item with the same key has already been added."

Hi Shalex, any update / ETA on the fix for this?
Re: Windows 10 Update KB 5006670 is breaking Entity Developer
Would you be able to provide an example on how to update an exiting model using ed.exe?
I have no more KBs to uninstall. So I'm stuck. There are no other workarounds.
Re: Windows 10 Update KB 5006670 is breaking Entity Developer
The bug with launching Entity Developer after applying Windows 10 Update KB5006670 and Windows 11 Update KB5006674 is fixed. Please upgrade to Entity Developer v6.12.1354. Refer to viewtopic.php?f=32&t=48906.

I can confirm, with the last ED Version, the Visual Studio integration and the Standalone ED are running again even with the Windows Update installed.
Good job Devart!
