Oh boy, this whole time I've been misreading "composite-element" ... I thought it said "component"!

I do apologize... I have no idea how I managed to misread that this whole time... I am terribly sorry about that! :-(

Also, selecting a complex type from the dropdown pops up an error message saying "Cannot uncheck both Generate properties", although "Generate related property" is checked for End 1.
The fixes for these issues are available in the latest 4.2.129 build of Entity Developer.
It can be downloaded from http://www.devart.com/entitydeveloper/download.html (trial version) or from Registered Users' Area (for users with valid subscription only).

Any plans to add this feature?

I still have a large number of mappings and entities I'm forced to maintain by hand...

I see you have the Parent-reference from Components working now - that's great news!

I am still waiting for support for navigation-properties on components, before I can fully migrate the rest of my mappings from hand-written ones to ED. Is that feature still on your roadmap?

The support of component navigation properties is implemented. We will notify you when the corresponding build of Entity Developer is available for download.
